Mixed ability rarely ruins the game
A lot of people hesitate to join because they worry about being too bad or too good. In a casual match, that usually matters less than you think. Rotate teams during the session, share who plays in goal, and keep the pace social rather than serious. What you lose in intensity, you gain in more people actually turning up - which is the whole point.
Look for games that already exist
Before organising anything yourself, check whether someone else already has. Browse what is happening in football near you, or open the map to see which games have already been posted this week. Plenty of matches are just one or two players short of a full team - and that could easily be you.
Start the game yourself if it does not exist
If nothing fits, you are probably not the only one nearby looking. Posting a game takes under a minute: pick the pitch, the time, and how many players you still need. People nearby who have football listed as an interest get notified, and suddenly you have enough for a match.
The game you start yourself often becomes the regular one, simply because you were the one who took the first step.
